Wow, I'm so glad I saw P!NK live ;) It was amazing, before I went I liked P!NK but after I left I LOVED her! This was the first real concert I ever been to and I think I found a new hobby..

Truth About Love Tour

Oracle Arena, Oakland, California

It all started less then a month ago and I decided I wanted to go to a concert. I already had tickets for Lady Gaga in New York last year, but then the tour got canceled, so I didn't get to go. Now I thought it was time to go to another concert, but I wasn't sure which one. So I started to look online and saw that P!NK was doing a concert in Oakland 10 October, and decided that would be the one. I liked P!NK and it also wasn't too far away, so two weeks before the concert I booked the tickets and I would go with two friends.

I had never been to a 'real' concert like this one, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. We where there on time luckily because I was really worried we would be late. We grabbed some food and went to our seats and at 7.30pm the opening act started.

New Politics

The opening act was a band named New Politics and it was Punk/Rock music. I don't really have a particular style of music I like or don't like, but I kind of liked them. It's a Danish band, but they had an American drummer. They are the opening act for P!NK's tour for the next 3 weeks. If you want to find out more about the band click here to go to their website.

The opening act took about 30 minutes and then the wait started.. After about 30 minutes the host went into the audience, which was quite funny. For example he went up to a bold guy and started massaging and licking his head, this was all shown on a big screen, I'm sure the guy was really embarrassed. And then he went on the stage, did a talk and P!NK came flying on the stage.

This was only the beginning, she did a total of 6 different flying acts! It was crazy, I never expected that, so it was a nice surprise! I have a video of all of them but for some reason the 2nd on didn't want to upload, but you can see that on my Youtube channel.

This is my favorite one, because everyone thought the show was over, she thanked the audience and the band, but then she came flying back out into the audience. I still have this song stuck in my head every morning when I wake up.

As I said before, I like P!NK and now I love her and I should say I might have a slight obsession at the moment. For the last few days I'm youtubing all kinds of stuff about her, all thanks to this concert.

The great thing about the concert was that you could really see that she is real. For example she did a song on the piano, and when it went wrong she just reacted as everyone else would. She seemed like a genuinely nice person and I am so happy I have been able to see her live. Another thing coming from this is that I want to see more concerts, so I'm going to have another, pretty expensive, hobby...
