Shoplog: Forever 21 and Wet N Wild

A while back I did some online shopping at Forever21.com, and found some great stuff. I really wanted to try some of the eye shadow pallets, but I couldn't find them in the store. Luckily they did have them online, I also bought some other things at forever 21, and some lipsticks from Wet N Wild.



One of the things I bought was a onsie. I wanted to get on for a while, but didn't really find a nice one, until one day I was at Forever 21 and found some, but not in my size. When I looked online I came across this cute one, and it was still available in my size, so I decided to buy it. Especially now it is getting colder in San Francisco and we don't have a proper heater in the house, I could really use something warm. It is super soft and made of fleece, so nice and warm too.

Mini Day Eye Shadow Palette & Mini Night Eye Shadow Palette, both $2.80 

I bought these two mini palettes on sale, unfortunately the 'Mini Night' did not completely survive the shipping, but it wasn't really worth it to send it back, so I guess that's just some bad luck. They are really small, so you can easily take them in your bag, and I like the idea of little books. I think they look really cute, and although that is not the most important part of it, it did make me buy them.

Mini Day Eye Shadow Palette, swatches

The colors of the 'Mini Day' palette are not too bad, but it was pretty easy to wipe it of my hand, which makes me wonder how long it will last if you put it on your eyes. But for the money I paid for it, it's definitely not bad. It was easy to apply and I really like the little sparkles.

Mini Night Eye Shadow Palette, swatches

The 'Mini Night' palette isn't as good at the day version, in my opinion. The colors have less pigment and there was quite some fall out. The colors are nice, but if I think of an evening look, I would do something a bit more out there, this is also easily wearable during the day. I think it is too light to call it a night palette.

The Artist Eye Shadow Palette, Lavender/Multi, $3,99

I bought this Palette in the finale sale, so I don't know if it is still available. I think it looks really cool. But unfortunately if you use it the patterns disappear. I really liked the colors and was curious about how it would look on your skin, so I made swatches of all the colors.

I think the colors are pretty good and they where a lot harder to remove than the ones from the other palettes. I especially like the pigment on the pink and blue colors, and the slight sparkle is great, to make it a little bit more special. I think you can create many different looks with this palette.

The Artist Eye Shadow Palette, Natural/Mulit, $3,99

This palette I also bought on sale, so I'm not sure if it is still available. I bought this one for the same reason as the other Artist palette, it looked really cool. I don't really understand why they made the name 'Natural' because these colors are everything besides natural. There is a lot of glitter, but good pigment, also another palette to create many different looks.

Pretty good pigment, especially for sparkling shadows, and they definitely have a lot more glitter, than the previous one. Overall I really like them, and I can't wait to make some different looks with these shadows.

Face Palette, Pink, $5.80

I mainly bought this palette because I wanted to try it out and liked the colors. It seems really convenient to have everything in the same palette, but usually the quality isn't that good, so let's see what the verdict is.

Unfortunately this was a little bit disappointing. The eye shadow is not super bad, but the lipgloss, as you can see has almost no pigment at all. And the blush is really pink, it makes me thing of the make up you get when you're little, the kids make up, not very good.. I will try to make a look with this, but I don't think it will turn out very good.

Beauty Book, How to Take Your Look from Day to Night, Natural/Bronze, $6.99

This is the final palette I bought at forever 21, and I actually did swatch this in the store before, so I knew it was pretty good. Another palette on final sale, so I'm not sure if it will be available anymore. I really like the idea of the book, so it also nice to put it in sight somewhere, lets have a look at the colors.

I really like he colors, because you can easily use them everyday and as promised you can change your look from day to night, just by adding some other colors. The pigment is good, but it is a bit flaky sometimes, but I really like the colors and could definitely recommend this.

The last thing I bought at Forever 21 was this cute little shower mitten, in the shape of a pink bunny :). I basically bought it so I had the free shipping haha.

I also bought four lipsticks from Wet N Wilde, they where on sale for $0.99, so I figures why not give it a try. The lipsticks are okay, but they are very creamy, which means they kind of slide of your lips. Especially the darkest one, even with applying it was really hard to get it on my lip and not make a mess of it.

Even though it was really creamy, I really like the first color, maybe if I get used to it it will be easier to apply. Overall I'm pretty happy with these colors, I already have a pink color from this line and it stays on pretty good. I was wearing it when I went Los Angeles, which you read about here.
