Goals for 2014

Happy new year everybody! I know I'm a little bit late and kind of neglected my blog in the last few weeks, but I'm going to try to get back on track. I set some goals for myself for this new year and wanted to share them with you.

One of the goals I set for myself is to post more regularly on my blog and not neglect it any longer. Which is hard sometimes with my busy schedule. I want to try and work ahead for about a week, so if I don't have the time one day, that won't be a problem. I also want to make some more and better videos, which is going to be a challenge because it is really new for me and I'm not very good with the editing part. I guess I will just have to learn it along the way.

The next to goal is to exercise more and eat healthier. I have started this already, but it is kind of on and off, so I want to make it more of a lifestyle change. And of course I will still enjoy all the good stuff in life, but for example I should also eat more vegetables. Last year I got in pretty good shape and then I kind of neglected my exercising, so I want to stay on top of that this time. When I go back home in July I want to be ready for the summer :)

I also need to save more money... I already started doing that and it is going pretty well so far. If I want to go to university in Australia, the money has to come from somewhere, so I have to stop shopping so much and put that money on my savings account. Another reason to stop shopping is, that I have to bring everything back with me, and I'm already freaking out about how that is ever going to happen.

I'm also going to start a biology class this month, which I will need if I get into the university in Australia. It has been a few years since I actually studied, so its going to be quite a change. I want to get a good grade, and get back into the study mode.

The next goal is to get accepted at the university in Australia. There is not really much more I can do about it right now, except wait for their response. I send in my application and all the paperwork today, so fingers crossed. I will write an update about as soon as I know more!

Next thing on the list is to go to bed earlier. I always go to bed really late, but I want to start exercising in the morning which I can't do if I go to bed at 2. My new bedtime will be 11, and I will try to get a new routine around it, and hopefully I will get some more sleep.

Then the last goal for this year is to enjoy the rest of my time in San Francisco and do as much as I can while I'm still here. Spend time with friends, do some more sightseeing in the area, and enjoy the time with the babies, now I still can. It is going to be so weird to leave and know that they won't remember me when they get older...

    EN OMG JE BENT IN SAN FRANCISCO. Geweldige stad is dat, ben er een aantal jaar geleden geweest. Nog veel plezier daar, enjoy!
