DIY: Visionboard

One of the things on my 101 things to do list, was making a visionboard, and that is exactly what I did when I had nothing to do last weekend. Here is how I did and you can also see the result.

The first thing I did was look around online and find some pictures that inspired me, or were related to my goals for this year. Because that's the main thing about a visionboard, visualizing your goals. I found a lot them that I liked and I got most of them from weheartit.com.

Then you will need a piece of paper, or canvas, something you can stick your pictures on. It doesn't have to be this big, it could also be an A4 size, whatever works best for you. I wanted it to be pretty big, so I bought this big piece of paper at Walgreens. Later I wasn't sure if I had enough pictures to put on it haha.

I spread out all my pictures on the floor next to the piece of paper...

And the puzzle started, I changed the pictures around a few times till all of them fit on there and I liked the way it looked.

It turned out like this, here I didn't actually glue them on the paper yet. What I recommend you to do is, when you figured out the place for all the pictures, to take a picture of it before glueing. I don't know if you can see very well in this pictures, but they are overlapping a little bit, so sometimes I had to move some to glue the bottom one on the paper. Then I checked the picture I took to see how I was supposed to put it back.

After I glued it, it turned out I had some space left, so I cut that off. I also bought this ductape with a cute flower pattern at Walgreens and put that along the edges of the paper. With the blue marker I made lines along all the pictures individually, because I thought it made it look more 'clean'.

This is how it ended up on my wall, and yes, some of those are Christmas cards you see. I put all the cards I received since I'm here on that wall and don't want to take them off.

Here it is up close, now you can see the blue lines I made between each picture.

Do you like visionboards, do you have one or are you planning to make one? Leave it in the comments ;)
