My week in pictures #17

In 'my week in pictures' I will let you have a look into my life on a weekly basis. Most of these pictures will be taken with my phone, because I bring that everywhere. I'm going to warn you now, there are going to be a lot of food pics...

Monday was a long day of working again and I actually made a pretty healthy dinner, that I also had for lunch the next day :) I didn't go to the gym, but at least I ate healthy, it was still pretty wet outside, so I was still stuck inside the whole day with the babies.

Tuesday was a normal workday, I finally cleaned my brushes when the babies where a sleep and it finally stopped raining, so I could do a play date with Gaby. In the evening I had class and my first exam! I think it went pretty good, hopefully I will get my results next week. I also posted about 10 things to know before becoming an Au pair.

Wow!!

Wednesday morning I checked my blog and when I saw the stats my mind was blown away! My post about being an au pair was a big succes and I got over 650 views, the highest ever. You can imagine I was really suprised because my second highest views was something like 34 in one day... Thank you all so much! Another normal working day and in the evening when I was off, I did a Valentine's day nail art.

On Thursday my new gel nails topcoat came in. I used the one from Sensational before, but I couldn't find it anywhere in stores anymore and online it was $18, my host mom uses the OPI one, and it works really good, so I decided to get that one instead. In the evening I had class again, but my host mom forgot she had to be home earlier, so in the end she drove me because I missed my bus. After class the fog came in, as you can see in the picture, typical San Francisco weather..

Friday was Valentine's day! In the morning we did a playdate with Gabi and we went to the Academy of Sciences. When we came back I put the babies to bed and I didn't have any plans, so Gaby and I decided we would hang out together after work. After the babies woke up I decided to let them make a painting for my host parents, luckily it wasn't as messy as I thought it would be. As you can see they paint very differently haha, one uses one finger the other one uses both his hands :P. After work I went to Gabi's house and we watched movies and ate ice cream, it was great!

Saturday was a bit of a lazy day. I slept in and then watched some YouTube Videos and went to the bank. I got a bagel with Salmon and Creamcheese for breakfast :) Later I went to Target and I saw this weird thing on the window of a beautysalon, ummm eyelash waxing?!? Also my book for my class finally came in a month after I ordered it because the seller 'forgot' to put it in the mail... And then I made my workout and meal scedule.. The workout schedule I'm going to try out for the next 4 weeks and the meal plan is just for this week, but a little bit flexible. The reason I make a meal plan is that if I don't I forget to eat. I will eat breakfast and then get hungry at 5 and eat all the cookies and chocolate I can find...

Sunday I first slept in a little bit and I was going to meet Sandra downtown at 2. I bought my first ever Bubble Milk Tea, and honestly I thought it was disgusting. I had like three sips and I threw it away because it made me feel sick.. I met Sandra and Marit downtown and we went to Sephora, because Sandra needed some blush. Everytime I leave there my hand looks like in the picture, or worse haha, I only bought two blue eye pencils that where on sale. After that we went to the Marina, because Sandra wanted to see the ocean, and then we went to Starbucks. There was an Apple store across the street, so we went there. I need a new laptop and I can't decide between a Mabook Air or a Macbook Pro, what do you think? I'm want to do more with my blog, so I will probably need some more memory space and the Macbook Pro has the DVD input, which is good to...

After that we decided to go back an I went to Target while Sandra and Marit went to their bus stop. When I was paying for my stuff at Target I got a message from Sandra that there had been a shooting at the Mall and they heard the gunshot. Luckily they were okay, but this is the third time something like this happened with Sandra around since we got here, so it's pretty scary. Anyway, its not something I can control, so I'm not going to live in fear, but I guess this is what happens when people are allowed to have guns at home, welcome in america.....

It was a pretty good week overall, except for the incident on Sunday night. How was your week?
