I'm back!

First of all I should probably apologize for not posting for this long, it has been like 5 weeks... I have been really busy lately and had a lot going on, but I finished my biology course now, so hopefully I will have some more time.




My blog unfortunately isn't the only thing I neglected the last few weeks, I haven't really been working out either. I had some exams for my biology class that took a lot of studying and I really wanted to get a good grade. I also planned a trip, which you can read about tomorrow and worked quite a lot.

I have less than 2 months left here in San Francisco, and I can't imagine leaving my babies :( On one hand I feel ready to move on and do something new, but leaving the babies is going to be really hard. I have been with them since they were 4 months and they turn two next month, it's crazy, I still see them as my babies. One of the hardest things is knowing that they probably won't remember me when they get older, while now I'm such a big part of their life. My host family said we should try to Skype, which I really want to do, but I don't even know if I ever come back here at this point. Also it's gonna be really weird, having someone else here kind of taking over my life... I mean she's going to be in this family, in my room, with my babies. It's all part of the program, but it doesn't make it any easier. My host family had found a new Au pair already, but her visa got denied, so now they have 2 months to find someone else, which is  pretty stressful for them. I hope they will find someone soon! I will ask them if it is alright with them if I make a post about my life with the babies by the time I leave and post lots of pictures as well :)

My host family went on a trip to Spain for two weeks, in which I was off. So I went on a trip for five days with some friends and then, honestly, I was just really lazy. I didn't have the house for myself since I got here and no one being here for two weeks made we want to do the things I normally don't do here, like watch tv all day haha. Back home I used to watch tv all the time, while here I almost don't watch any tv at all, so that's what I did most of the time. Off course I also did some cleaning and stuff like that before they came home, but it was a pretty relaxing time, which I really needed. I haven't had a vacation since September, so it was really needed.

Now I finished my biology class I have some more free time during the week and hopefully I will be able to work a little in advance for my blog. I have a lot of new ideas, so I will keep you posted about that.
