Brisbane sightseeing

Here is another Brisbane update, this time about what I have seen since I got to Australia so far. I have only been here 4 weeks, so it's not that much yet, but I still wanted to show some of beautiful places I have seen so far.

One of the first things I saw was the city off course, which is really nice and not too big. There are some nice shops there and the mall is great as well. I have also been to Southbank, which is an artificial beach, so to speak, almost in the city. You actually have great views there on the skyline :)

Spending some time in Soutbank, unfortunately no shade, so I got sunburned..

Big wheel :)

In my second week, on Australia Day, I went to the Koala Sanctuary with two other Au pairs, which was really fun. We didn't really hold the koala's because it was quite expensive, but we spend quite some time between the kangaroos and wallabies.

This guy was just hang in' out like this haha

Off course we needed a selfie and even my new friend is smiling :D

My third weekend here, one of my friends I met in Townsville when I was there three years ago invited me to come stay with her at the Sunshine Coast for the weekend. It was an amazing weekend, with lots of catch ups, as I hadn't seen her in 3 years. And she showed me around in the area, which was great, she even came to pick me up at my place, a 1,5 hour drive, thanks Ange!

Noosa :)

Look at this view!

Some beach time :)

One day my host mom took me to Mt Coot-tha, where you had a great view of the whole city. We got there just before it started poring down and then a few minutes later the sun came out again.

This is pretty much what I have done in Brisbane and surroundings so far. If you have ever been here and have any tips on what I should see let me know ;) Next week there will be a week in pictures online again, and I will get back on track.
