Everyone has their own insecurities, and that's normal. But everybody is different and that is a good thing, the world would be a boring place if everyone was the same. It doesn't matter if you are tall, short, skinny, curved or purple, you are perfect the way you are!
Most people are insecure about something, either physical or emotional. There are probably millions of girls out there who think they are fat, but they are not. Girls who think their hair looks weird, they have the wrong clothes or are too short. This is normal, but you have to learn to accept yourself the way you are. If you are overweight, go exercise eat healthy, try to do something about it. But you also have to love yourself anyway, no matter what size you are. For example, I'm perfectly fine the way I look now, but I would like to be a bit more in shape, so I'm trying to exercise more and eat healthier.
There are obviously also stuff you can't change about yourself, and you just have to learn to live with it. I have really weird feet, I was born that way and even had surgery on one of them (medical, not plastic), but that didn't have much of an effect and now I also have a huge scare on my foot. For a while in summer I avoided wearing sandals or slipper, but now I don't care anymore. I mean, those are my feet and they are a part of me, there nothing I can do about it and I just have to live with it.
And then you have the emotional insecurities of people telling you that you're not good enough. Okay I know this probably won't help but, you ARE good enough and perfect the way you are! Parents telling you something like that can really do a lot of damage, even if they might not realize it. They might say something like that only once in your life, but you will never forget. But that is the opinion of only one person, there are a lot of people out there that do you love you and want to spend time with you. So try and find those people, the once that make you happy, and you'll see your confidence will slowly grow when you're surrounded by the right people.
