Movie review: Her

Source
As I mentioned in 'my week in pictures' I went to see the movie 'Her' with a friend last weekend, so I thought it would be a good idea to write a review about, and share my opinion of this amazing movie with you.

Here is a shot summary of the movie, I don't want to give to much away, so I will use what is already online:

''A sensitive and soulful man earns a living by writing personal letters for other people. Left heartbroken after his marriage ends, Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix) becomes fascinated with a new operating system which reportedly develops into an intuitive and unique entity in its own right. He starts the program and meets "Samantha" (Scarlett Johansson), whose bright voice reveals a sensitive, playful personality. Though "friends" initially, the relationship soon deepens into love.'' - Source

The way the movie is made is really amazing, it is in the future, but you also see a lot of things back from now. It is really interesting to think about the way social media is influencing our lives and what the result might be in 10,20 or 30 years from new. I think the movie showed one of the options, in a really funny but also serious way. Yes off course all the extra technology might come in handy, but don't we lose contact with each other a long the way?

It is a very good movie, with a lot of different emotions, happiness, love, sadness, which makes it very easy to feel for the main character. The movie was very funny as well, and we had a very good laugh multiple times, I think this was one of the best movies I have seen so far and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It is not just another soppy romance story, it really is more and it lets you think about our world now and what the future holds for us, definitely go see this movie and let me know what you think!

Did you see the movie 'Her' yet?
