As I mentioned in my week in pictures I went to Las Vegas last weekend with Martyna. It was her 21st birthday on Friday and we thought that was the perfect occasion to go to Vegas for the weekend. We had a lot of fun, we stayed in a hostel, walked up and down the Strip and the best thing of all was the show we went to on Sunday night (middle picture).
Our flight went at 9.00 am on Saturday morning, it was a short flight and I pretty much slept trough the whole flight. The night before we went out for Martyna's birthday, so we were pretty tired. When we landed and got to the bus stop, we just saw the bus leave and it would take another hour before the next one arrived, so we decided to take a cab. We checked in at the hostel and went to find a place to eat, because we were starving. We didn't really care what as long as it was food, so we ended up at Carl's Junior. We had a burger and fries and walked back to the hostel to have a nap.

After our nap we got ready to walk to the Strip. Our hostel was at the end of the Strip, but not on it, it was about a 15 minute walk to get there, but then you where at the end, which wasn't the most exciting part. We where hungry again, so we went to IHop, we had never been there and we had breakfast food for dinner haha.

Then we walked down the Strip and went to some different casino's. We saw the Stratosphere, which is really high and you can actually jump of the building, which was crazy! Next was Circus Circus, which was kind of like a amusement park with games and attractions. At the Fashion Show Mall they sold show tickets with a discount, so we had a look and were thinking about going to the Chippendales, but then we saw another flyer that looked even better, so we decided to go there the next night. But we had to come back the next day to pick up the tickets. The Bellagio was next, where we saw the water show with the fountains, which was amazing!

At the end of the night we went to Ceasar's Palace because it is so big, we decided to take our time there. So we walked around there until we were tired and then walked back to the hostel, which took about 1 hour from there.
On Sunday we got up at 9, so we had some more time to go see the other side of the Strip. We also had to go back to buy our tickets for the show we wanted to see. After we got ready we started to walk towards the Fashion Show Mall, first we got our tickets and then we went to Starbucks, because Martyna needed her coffee and we had to eat something for breakfast.
The first casino we went to see was Excalibur, this was also where the show was going to be in the evening. It was a big castle and it almost looked like Lego, it was pretty cool.

After that we walked all the way to the sign that says Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada, which took a pretty long time, it was further away then we thought it would be, but we made it!
We started walking back on the other side of the Strip, we were running out of time a little bit, so we decided there where some casino's we could have a look at after the show. And we just went to the ones we wanted to see during the day. First we walked to Imperial Palace, because they have an classic car museum, but we didn't really have time to go trough it. Then we went to the Venetian, which we definitely wanted to see in day light and it was amazing! They had the canals where you could take a ride in a gondola, outside but also inside! And when you went inside it still looked like you were still outside, it was great. We had a coffee there because by then we where really tired. And we went back to the hostel to get ready for the show in the evening.

On our way from the sign, we saw some other casino's as well off course, but we didn't went into all of them. Here some impressions of other casino's:

When we got back to the hostel we got changed, did our hair and make up and then we walked back to Excalibur, which took us a good 1,5 hours. But it was for a good cause, because we had tickets for a great show. Little hint: think 'Magic Mike' ;).
The show was called: Australia's Thunder From Down Under and it was great! I'm not going to give to much away, but if you have seen the movie 'Magic Mike' you get the idea ;) We weren't allowed to take pictures during the show, but at the end you could take a picture with all the guys. Girls, be jealous! ;)
