In 'my week in pictures' I will let you have a look into my life on a weekly basis. Most of these pictures will be taken with my phone, because I bring that everywhere.
Monday was an easy day for me even though I had to work. The babies had a doctors appointment, so I started at 9.30am, my host dad picked them up at 12.00pm and they were back at 3pm. 30 Minutes later was their bedtime and they woke up at 4.30pm. They didn't feel to good, because they had 3 shots each, so they where a little bit upset when they woke. I sat in a chair with both of them on my lap, so I couldn't move for the next 20 minutes haha. I finished work at 5.30pm and didn't really do much after that. And it was really cold, so I figured I should use my fluffy hot water bottle :)
It was still pretty cold, so I didn't go out with the babies, it was Tuesday, so a long day for me again. After the babies went to bed I watched a Criminal Minds/Flashpoint marathon while laying under a blanky on the couch. And I also did my nails, what do you think?
Another oridinary day, and it was still cold. Compared to the 25C it was last week it now only was 11C, quite a big difference and we don't really have heating in the house, so it was pretty cold. A good day to have a nap with the babies :)
When my host mom came back from work she told me the nail polish I like was on sale at Walgreens, and because I didn't had the time to go there on the weekend, I decided to go right away. The brand is Sinfulcolors and it is not available in Holland, so I told myself the only nail polish I can buy here is that brand. I always wait till they go on sale which is pretty regularly, the normal price is $1,99, but on sale they are only $0,99 :) I bought 19 of them oops... The quality is pretty good, it even stays on longer without chipping than more expensive brands like Essie and OPI, so for that price I get a whole load at the time. My wig for my Halloween costume came in as well today, so I'm pretty much set now. What do you think I'm going to be?
On Friday after work I went to visit one of my friends, Natasha. She lives quite far from me, but I had some music on the way ;). We wanted to go to Great America, but in the end her friend canceled and we decided not to go, so we went to an Italian ice cream place instead. I stayed at her place till Sunday, because there was not really a point in traveling that long to stay for just one night.
On Saturday we went shopping and decided to get some make up samples. When we were in Macy's we got a coupon for a free 10 day supply of Estée Lauder foundation, so we went to try some out and figure out the right color. Then we went to Sephora and tried some more make up and had a terribly unhealthy lunch at MC Donald's. Natasha thought it would be fun to go to Santana row, which was a good idea and we sat in a really expensive electric car, which was really cool :) Then we decided we wanted to go to Great America anyway, and the traffic was horrible. There was a huge line but we finally got in, it was the last day of the season and they had a Halloween theme, so it was pretty cool. We also got a huge back of candy you could fill up a bag for only $5, we were like little kids haha.
The next day we decided to join some of my other friends to go to the Academy of Sciences, because we wanted to see some more of that. We walked around a little bit but it was already quite late and we went to the show in the planetarium, which was really interesting about earth quakes. That was pretty much my weekend.
