As I mentioned in the 'My week in pictures' post from this week, I started a new diet plan and am trying to exercise more regularly. For a while I was trying to eat better, but I somehow always forget to eat when I'm working and then realize at 6.00pm that I didn't eat anything throughout the day. That why I figured I needed some kind of food schedule so I won't forget to eat and I won't be hungry and eating everything I can find by the end of the day. I was following Blogilates for a while new and then I found out she was going to to a Total Body Make Over mealplan, which sounded very interesting to me.
I used to do some of her videos on Youtube, but fact is I don't have the discipline to do them at home, so I rather go to the gym. Although this is a good replacement if I'm not able to go there. She has a different calendar every month, where you can see what videos you should do each day. You need to subscribe to the news letter on her Blog to get access to the calendars, every month you will receive a password and your calendar is ready for you.
She has many different workouts for different body parts. Even if you don't want to do the calendar you can just go to her website and click on the exercises you want to do.
Now she also has a meal plan, which I'm not going to put on here in too much detail, because for this you also need a password. You can get this password on Twitter, Youtube or Instagram, so you will have to follow her on all of these to find out the password.
Week 2 is starting next week and the first week went amazingly well. It basically consists of 5 meals a day, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner and it says exactly what you need to eat. It's all clean eating and there is also a vegan option. By the end of the day its around 1500 calories, which I thought was not enough for me. I don't eat the dinner from the calendar because it would be to complicated with my host family, so I just eat dinner with them. During the day I sometimes add some things or duble the amount so by the end of the day I ate about 2200 calories. I'm now going to the gym 3 times a week and run 3 times a week, so I want to make sure I eat enough, I really hope I can stick to this for the next few weeks and make it part of my routine.
What kind of exercise do you do?
